When you are obliged to take care of your flock, you must live on the edge of the cliff. This is the story of Master Paco, the last shepherd with a pole in Gran Canaria, able to follow the steps of his goats between cliffs and deep gorges. His legacy, to carry on with an ancestral activity unique in the Canary Islands.

JURRIA: THE GUARDINAS OF THE POLE

Isidoro, Isi for his friends, is a man full of passions. His interest in the mountain is nearly innate, probably because he spent most of his childhood playing between walking trails and gorges. The sea is another of his passions. There is nothing he enjoys more than the silence of sails and the sea bottom in every of his dives.
He also enjoys cinema and music, and thanks to that passion for big screen stories Jurria: The Guardians of the Pole was born.
This is his first film as an independent producer in which he has shown the evolution of this activity born of the sheepherding Canarii culture.
